4 Thai Beaches you are going to Love

Spread the love

Thailand is one of those places where everything is beautiful – starting from rich and vibrant vegetation, over gorgeous people, exquisite food, down to some of the best beaches in the world. Today we are going to talk about the four Thai beaches you will grow to love and adore, just like we did:

Maenam Beach, Koh Samui

Maenam Beach is one of the most popular beaches among backpackers and tourists. Even so, it’s not as crowded as most people would assume, mainly due to the fact that it’s decently far away from Samui’s most frequented spots. You will get to enjoy more than 4 miles of creamy-white sand, the remarkably clear water, surf, and basically do whatever you want;

There are also numerous high-end resorts at your disposal which make sure that Maenam Beach is always kept in perfect shape; To top it all, it’s quite safe to say that finding your own spot shouldn’t fall too hard.

Thong Nai Pan Noi, Koh Phangan

Even though it is probably a bit too hard to pronounce for most tourists, the Thong Nai Pan Noi is one of the most gorgeous and tranquil spots to enjoy catching some tan while sunbathing. The Nai Pan Noi is located on a relatively remote spot, so unless you’re extremely lucky, you should be prepared to walk for quite a while.

Even so, the rewards waiting for you at the far end of Koh Phangan will make up for the trouble. This Thai beach looks absolutely phenomenal, it is surrounded by lush vegetation, and there are quite a few resorts where you can either stock up on some snacks or refresh yourself.

If you decide to frequent the Thong Nai Pan Noi beach more than any other Thai beach, we suggest that you try finding a bungalow in the Noi village not far from it. It’s the closest point to the beach which will substantially reduce the time you’ll need to march.

Sairee Beach, Koh Tao

The first thing that most tourists absolutely adore about the Sairee beach is the fact that it has so many coconut and palm trees surrounding it. You won’t ever need to bring an umbrella, as you’ll only get to see some sun if you peek outside the natural cover of the trees’ shade. There is also plenty of low end to high-end budget accommodation here suiting all types of travelers. And if you like diving, then this is one of Thailand’s hotspots!

Sairee Beach also boasts shallow waters along the shore, which is yet another reason why families love it so much.

Lamai Beach, Koh Samui

The Lamai Beach has the softest, most beautiful sandy shore, pristine-clear seawater, and it’s surrounded by beautiful vegetation. The only thing you’ll need to know about the Lamai beach is that it’s one of the most beautiful Thai beaches you will ever come across and that the waters there host quite a bit of jellyfish. They’re practically harmless unless you disturb them, though.
