Earthshaking Nightlife Venues from Goa Tourism

The list runs into infinity, when it comes to discussing the myriad wonders of Goa tourism. While one usually identifies Goa with its legendary sun, sand, and surf experience as well as mind blowing sightseeing attractions by way of historical monuments and jungles and other natural wonders, the destination is also fabled for its roaring nightlife. Having seen years of Portuguese colonial rule, Hippie influence, and hordes of foreign tourists, Goa has inherited a highly permissive culture. This largely reflects through its nightlife and famed party spots. Here’s a little on the best places for enjoying nightlife in Goa.

Tito’s

Club Tito’s set the nightlife scene of Goa tourism on fire, long time back. Every nightbird, party animal, or nocturnal animal worth his or her salt invariably heads to Tito’s while visiting Goa. The feeling of euphoria as you tank up on booze and hit the dance floor with a vengeance is almost utopian. After you are spent, the lip smacking array of cuisines here serve as wonderful energy boosters. Tito’s is also located very close to Baga, one of the most famous of beaches in Goa.

Curlies

Always wondered about the trance scene in the Goa? Well, this is the place to experience whatever is left of the same after the clampdown by authorities. However, one thing is certain that Curlies is definitely a rage in the context of nightlife in Goa. It is located on Anjuna Beach. As soon as the clock strikes 5 pm, the DJs belt out their stuff and everyone sets the dance floor on fire. DJs even come from abroad. Being located on the seaside, this place also gives indescribably mind blowing views of the Sun God’s nightly dip in the sea to the accompaniment of trance music.

Bora Bora

This is a knockout cocktail of the local Goa tourism scene and some Russian influence. Bora Bora is a restaurant lounge under Russian ownership on the mesmerizingly beautiful Morjim Beach. A large segment of the crowd frequenting the place is Russian. Music is non stop and Bora Bora runs almost 24/7. The Russian gentleman who owns the place is a DJ himself, so there’s just no end to indulgent music at the venue. Perhaps, the best part is that you can even give your family a taste of nightlife in Goa here as Bora Bora has a lovely kindergarten for children. The ones with more adventurous tastes can try the kite surfing classes.

Bardo

Another bomb of a night haunt from Goa tourism. There are Cabana rentals here spread out over an area of around 300 feet. Sun decks, pool, and a wonderful restaurant for fine dining add lots of character. The ones who conceptualised raging nightlife venues such as Sanchos, Aurace, and Rain are behind Bardo show what this place is all about. In short, Bardo translates as a period of peace, happiness and beauty crammed in the middle of two incarnation or that ‘intermediate state’. Bardo is very spacious and while the exteriors can play host to 3000 guests, the interior venue can accommodate 300 patrons. So, if you are exploring the scene of nightlife in Goa, don’t skip Bardo.
