The restaurant is set in a beautiful, grand riad that was transformed by Mohamed Fedel, who also runs the establishment and includes a breath-taking dining area where diners are seated at round tables and spread around the glistening pool that has a beautifully designed and tiled bottom, and on the patio area. On the restaurant’s limited menu, the main dishes consist of a selection of Tagines and Couscous, as well as a selection of grilled chicken skewers, assortment of grilled meats and fish kebabs that are paired with rice, potatoes or vegetables. The menu also has an entrée selection and a small number of desserts that will satisfy those diners with a sweet tooth. Dining at Dar Moha is a truly magnificent and unforgettable experience as your will leave feeling satisfied both culturally and physically.
Palais De Fes Dar Tazi, Fes
This charming little family-run guest house specialises in traditional Moroccan cuisine and serves up some of the tastiest traditional dishes you will find in Fes. This spot is located in the heart of the medina in the historic district, with the options to dine on the restaurant’s terrace which offers breath-taking, panoramic views of the city’s winding streets, or in their bright lounge area with large bay windows. Their range of delicious food is prepared and made using recipes that have been passed down from one generation to the next, with Pastilla (or pigeon pie) as one of their specialities; this consists of tender meat covered in aromatic sauce with vegetables, raisins and local spices which is then added to a cinnamon and sugar coated pastry crust.
