Baga Beach is one of the most fascinating beaches in the world which is located in the state of Goa. This beach is beautifully sandwiched between the two bigger cousins beach the Candolim Beach and the Calangute Beach. This beach is however smaller in size but is definitely more relaxed, cleaner and loner than the other beaches in Goa. It is a small beach but it is very acclaimed for its lovely view collectively this beach and the Baga River includes a small beautiful hill. This exotic beach is also very renowned among the adventure enthusiasts as they can enjoy numerous activities such as water sports, boating, fishing, bask in the sun, windsurfing, kite surfing, shopping at flea market and is as well famous for Dolphin spotting. This wonderful beach has derived its name from the Baga River which is connected to the Arabian Sea.

Anjuna Beach, Flea Market, Agunda Fort, Arpora Beach, Calangute Beach, Chapora Fort are some of the prime attractions to explore and enjoy near the Bage beach. One thing to note here is that night stay at the beach is must for the night club lovers, maximum night clubs of the Baga Beach are amidst the Tito’s Lane. Cavala Caters, Café Mambo and Club Tito are some famous night clubs in this region for your night stand.

Weather at Baga Beach

The climate of this place remains hot and humid throughout the year except the winters. It also receives rain due to the proximity of the Arabian Sea. And the best season to visit this Beach is considered to be the winter when the temperature remains pleasant.

Summer at Baga Beach: Summer season persists for very long times that is from March to July, the temperature reaches up to 34 C to along with the high humidity. The average temperature in the summer is marked around 28 C.

Monsoon at Bage Beach: The monsoon in Baga Beach is continued from mid June to September, due to the proximity of Arabian Sea the city receives abundant rainfall along with some thunder storms. The average rainfall receive annually is marked approximately 291 cm.

Winter at Baga Beach: The winter season at Baga Beach persist for very short term which is from December to February. The average temperature during the winter season varies 14 c to 26 c, with pleasant temperature the throughout the season it also offers great time to the vacationers on the beach.

How to Get Here

By Air: Goa has only one airport which is located in Dabolim and which lies only 51 km from the Baga Beach. Being an International Airport international flights from numerous country such as Kuwait, Qatar, Dubai, Sharjah, Britain, Netherlands, Germany, Russia and numerous prime cities of India are vailable here. As once you get to this airport from here you can easily reach Baga by four wheeler car.

By Roads: Gorgeous Baga Beach is very well and directly connected to Panaji the capital city of Goa via Mapusa. There you can get numerous government bus services and private bus operator from Panaji stand to Baga bus station.

By Rail: Thivim is the nearest railway station which is located just 18 km from the Baga Beach.
